Building Communities with Purpose Since 1986.
Founded in 1986, MCL Architects started with a simple goal: to create architecture that brings people together and strengthens communities. From our beginnings in Barrie, Ontario, we’ve built lasting relationships with clients who trust us for our down-to-earth approach and commitment to affordable housing.
Led by Michael McKnight and Stephen Charron, we have always focused on designing spaces that genuinely reflect the needs of the people who use them. We’re proud of our reputation for putting people first, giving back to the community, and staying true to our values. Our clients return to us because we prioritize collaboration, practical design, and sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
